Dr Oeun Bolrathanak graduated with an MD degree from Thai Binh Medical University, Vietnam, in 2011 and received a scholarship from the Japanese Government to pursue his graduate study in cardiovascular medicine at the Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine in 2017. He has authored and co-authored more than 20 original research articles on the study of heart failure, Ischemic Heart Disease, and Cardiac Arrhythmia, published in high-impact peer-reviewed journals in the field.
Along with research training, he undertook clinical training in interventional cardiology. He joined a hundred cases of coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention with the support of intravascular ultrasound and optical coherence tomography, catheter ablation for cardiac arrhythmia and pacemaker implantation. In March 2022, he was awarded a PhD degree in medical science – cardiovascular medicine.
