A graduate from International Medical University in Phnom Penh, subsequently he worked as Lead Medicine and Internal Medicine in Sihanouk Hospital Centre of Hope for 10 years. He has a wealth of experience and joins diabetes & other related Internal Medicine conferences in various countries including Germany, Portugal, Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore. His significance in medicine also encourages him to participate in the European Association for the Study of Diabetes, American Diabetes Association, International Diabetes Federation, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

Since 2012, Dr. Kosal has worked at Raffles Medical Clinic in Phnom Penh as General Practitioner. He enjoys aspects of the job especially the ongoing relationship with his patients to acknowledge their health conditions.
